What You Need
Here’s your Bald Eagle craft supply list (This post contains affiliate links to the products mentioned. Read ourdisclosure policyfor more information):
- Free Bald Eagle Printable<– Get it here!
- colored copy paper,coloredcardstock,orconstruction Paper
- scissors (good pair)
- stapler
- glue sticks
- marker (for eyes)
Make this Eagle Craft for Preschoolers while reading these Fun Books:
Step 1: Get the Bald Eagle Craft Printable
Download the Free Bald Eagle Printable. You will be stapling the templates to sheets of colored paper and cutting out shapes up to 10 at a time.
Step 2: Staple and Cut Out the Eagle Shapes
Once you have the print outs, staple them to up to 10 sheets of copy paper, 5 sheets of cardstock or 5-8 sheets of construction paper.
Did you know, you can staple together 10 pieces of copy paper and cut out 10 shapes at a time?! That’s mySECRETto fast & easy crafting.
Stapling the paper is very important because it makes sure it doesn’t move as you cut. The more staples the better. Cardstock is the thickest so you may only be able to cut 5 sheets at a time.
Tip: While you’re cutting, if you’ve cut off all parts of the pages that have staples, make sure to re-staple the sheets that are left.
Whenever you’re cutting multiple sheets at a time, make sure they are always stapled together!
Extra Tip: You can stack up to 8 sheets of red, white, and blue paper and cut out all of your stars at one time. Remember you can stack 8 sheets of paper (white, brown, yellow) and cut out a bunch of shapes at one time.
Step 3: How to Assemble
The kids will just need to glue it all together!
- Glue the tail and head onto the body
- Glue the wings onto the back of the body
- Glue on the beak
- Glue on the “VOTE” label (optional)
- Glue on the stars
- Draw on the eyes
And you’re Finished!
It took me about 15 minutes to have the supplies for 20 kids. How amazing is that?! Now you’re ready to take your Eagle craft to your event.
